Awards in the Medical University - Plovdiv:

1. Maria Jana was named the winner of the best Bulgarian Language Handwriting in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, Europe in May 2017 during an Awards Ceremony.

2. Maria Jana was the winner of the Rector’s scholarship  prize and award for an excellent student in 2018 in the Medical University, as she achieved the best excellent average marks of 6.0 in all subjects in medicine.  She received a scholarship payment as a result of this award.

3. Maria Jana was the winner of the Rector’s scholarship prize and award for an excellent student in 2019 in the Medical University, as she achieved the best excellent average marks of 6.0 marks in all subjects in medicine.  She received a scholarship payment as a result of this award.

4. Maria Jana was the winner of the Rector’s prize scholarship and award for an excellent student in 2020 in the Medical University, as she achieved overall excellent marks for all subjects in medicine.  She received a scholarship payment as a result of this award. 

5. Maria Jana was the winner of the Rector’s scholarship prize and award for an excellent student in 2021 in the Medical University, as she achieved an overall excellent mark for all subjects in medicine.  She received a scholarship payment as a result of this award. 

Student of the Year Award in the Faculty of Medicine, Medical University - Plovdiv

Maria Jana is the winner of the inaugural – debutant  Prestigious Award of “Student of the Year Award” in December 2021 at the Medical University–Plovdiv.

National Essay Completion 2021 in Bulgaria

Maria Jana Kingsley-Godwin won the Peer Medics National Essay Completion in January 2022 in Bulgaria with her winning Essay on:

"Herd Immunity and COVID-19"
